Domestic Abuse
Children Emergency from Abuse (CEMFA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity working directly with shelters for women suffering from domestic abuse. It is funded solely by private donations.
Providing Safety and Opportunities for Healing, Growth, and Self-Determination
The CEMFA program is designed to provide safety and opportunities for healing, growth, and self-determination. Our goal is to help these mothers become independent financially and emotionally so they never have to subject themselves or their children to domestic violence again.
The Painful Truth
Studies have also shown that 85-95% of men who batter learned this behavior in childhood by watching their mother being battered or by being the victim themselves.
Research Findings
After doing some serious research on the situation that mothers with children coming out of serious, abusive situations were facing, we found that most of these women were not only without the funds for transportation, but in many cases they left the situation with only the clothes on their backs. We also found that there was a definite need for an organization that would provide not just cars but cars in a condition that would be useful in the long run.
THE PAINFUL TRUTH

Effects on Children:

Access to clean water is a human right, but many people worldwide still lack access to safe drinking water and hand-washing facilities, however internation institutions and service providers have stayed the course to deliver water, sanitation, and hygiene goals despite COVID- 19 setbacks. We work together to improve access to clean water to every person worldwide.
