Last year I learned that my 84-year-old father had been collecting Coleman stoves for the zombie apocalypse (or probably just to tinker). I sold several on his behalf, and after his passing last month, found seven more! The stove is in good condition, but I did not test it. It was full of fuel and has a new fuel tank cap which tells me he upgraded the cap and tested it. He usually left the fuel in the tank to prevent any rust. Approx 17.7 X 11.5X 4.5 There is a rust which could be treated and repainted. The month/year stamps on the bottom of the tank indicates “D 63”, which corresponds to December 1963. Like some others, the paint is burned off the front right. I’ve seen this on others as well (including one I’m selling) I guess the right side gets hot This is pretty good for a 60 yr old stove. The new Coleman stoves run about $180.00 new. *If you’ve looked on eBay for Coleman stoves you’re probably noticed that quite a few are priced higher and look far worse than this stove. From the Coleman Collector’s Forum: The 425C is the compact version of Coleman's 2-burner stoves for 1962-1964. Similar to the other models the primary burner is larger than the secondary burner(s).
